LINDA SHEPARD FOR CITY COUNCIL
ENDORSEMENTS
I have known Linda Shepard for nearly ten years through different volunteer capacities with Boy Scouts and at church. She is honest, dependable, selfless, giving and caring. She truly has a heart and concern for the youth of our community and gives countless hours to our local Scouting organizations and schools. Of all of the many qualities she possesses, I would define her best as a “do-er”. If you want the job done and done well, you can count on Linda. She delivers!

Linda is a tireless advocate for the city of Mission Viejo. In the nearly 20 years I’ve known Linda, she has supported our youth through leading programs at elementary schools to promote science education and at the Boy Scouts. Long after her two sons promoted through Cub Scouts, she has continued to mentor other parents to ensure this important program continues for the next generation of Scouts in Mission Viejo. She also supports local businesses and provided pro bono consulting services leveraging her decades experience as a Chief Financial Officer and Certified Public Accountant. She will be a prudent council member with the best interest of students and businesses in mind.

Linda Shepard's second son, Eric, was enrolled in my kindergarten class at Barcelona Hills Elementary School in in 2007. We have remained friends since. Linda was a weekly Parent Volunteer in my room. eagerly helping students at the learning centers I assigned to her. She worked diligently on many committees during my years at Barcelona and her openness and warmth created a great rapport with students, parents and other Barcelona staff members. I had the privilege of working on the annual Family Night of Math and Science with Linda for seven years. She was tireless in recruiting volunteers from businesses to share their knowlege at these highly successful events, as well as in securing all necessary supplies. Linda is the most dedicated person I know. Linda possesses a rare blend of professional and personal qualities that will make her an excellent member of City Council to keep our city, "The California Promise," the best in South County.
